GOLF BALL CANNON

All participants shoot cannon for the best shot.
Suggest a 50/50 closest to the pin game - all participate guaranteed chip shoot
Par 4 300 yds or More
Air Cannon - “The BIG GUN!” Shoot the cannon for your best shot.
(This can easily be on the GREEN)
All 4 members participate - guaranteed shot at the fringe / Chipping
Donation to be determined by the tournament director. Suggested $10 per person or greater.
This can also be a sponsorship hole.
NO LOST BALL
The No Lost Ball contest is a great way to get all teams to participate in a fun competition.
This particular contest can be played with any color golf ball, but typically played using an orange or pink ball.
Before the tournament begins, each team has the option to enter the contest for a set amount. All teams that participate will receive an orange or pink ball that must be used by a different golfer on the team at every hole. The objective is to not lose the ball for the entire 18 holes and any teams that successfully completes this challenge will be entered into a drawing for a prize
POKER RUN
Always a good moneymaker! At registration, everyone who wants to buy in (this can be part of the mulligan package) gets 3 cards. On two holes on the course (one on the front 9, and one on the back 9), you’ll draw two more cards – one card at each station. When you have five cards, you can buy in for more, or trade all your cards in. Each new card costs $5 (or whatever price you set). At the banquet, you’ll show the flop – and the person with the best hand wins.
GUESS THE DISTANCE
This game is set up on a par 4 or par 5 hole of the golf course, preferable with a downhill straight fairway. The player guesses how far they believe they will drive their ball off the tee. The staff records this information. The golfer must use the club normally used on that hole ball and it must be hit with full force. We use a Laser Rangefinder to focus on the ball and measure the distance. The winner is either the person who guesses the closest to his/her yardage for a big prize or everyone who gets within 10 yards of their guess for a smaller prize or we can do both. It’s pretty high tech and impressive.
WHEEL OF FORTUNE
Spin the Wheel Fortune to see what fortune brings you. We split the options on the wheel into beneficial ones such as: “Tee off from the Red Tees“, “Proceed to the green to putt”, ”Advance to the drop Area”, “Everyone gets an extra drive”, “Eagle” – and silly ones, such as “Sing while you hit”, “Do 10 push-ups before you tee off”. And a coupe that penalize you : “Tee off from the Back Tees”, “Drive with a wedge or putter”, “Take the worst Drive”, – whatever you want, just have fun!
LET'S HULA
This par 3 game we place several Hula Hoops on a short Par 3. The object is to have your ball come to rest in a Hula Hoop. Each Hula Hoop is worth different point totals. The team with the highest total wins. Cash or prize to be determined by Hole sponsor or Tournament Director.
MYSTERY BALL
This game is set up on a par 4 or 5. We have 4 golf balls in the bag or bucket each ball has one of these slogans on it:
1. Longest Drive 2. Shortest Drive
3. Farthest Left 4. Farthest Right
After the golfer’s hit their drive from the tee we will pull ONE BALL out of the bag and whatever it says is the winner. This is a fun game as you do not necessarily have to hit a good shot to win a prize Great sponsor giveaway hole!
PUTTING CONTEST
Charity Golf Games sets up a challenging 30-40 ft. course on the putting green with flags, trees, and fences. The putting contest typically begins 1 hour before tee off. Each player gets 2 chances. If no one sinks the putt then the closest to the hole wins. If more than one person makes it then there is a putt off. During the putt off each person who made the putt gets an additional chance at the hole. The player whose ball is closest to the hole wins if no one makes it in the hole during the putt off
BALL DROP
The Ball Drop is like a drawing. Your organization sells numbered golf balls, before the event and during registration. A Hi-Lift takes the purchased numbered balls, hi over the golf putting green, and drops the balls. The golf ball that lands in the cup, or closest to the pin, is the winner. If there is a tie we draw for the winner. Consider awarding prizes to multiple winners to encourage participation. For example, award a smaller prize for the ball to land farthest from the pin; alternatively, use half of the Ball Drop proceeds and assign cash prizes to the first, second, and third place winners. We use foam practice golf balls so as not to harm the putting green. This works best if you are able to secure a trip or vacation home from a sponsor. This is an overwhelming money maker if you plan ahead! Balls are often sold for $20.00 or more. This is best done prior to the shotgun start, when everyone is present, with the winner announced at the banquet after the outing.

Charity Golf Games believes that taking care of the golf course is extremely important. Our two person team with the golf launchers repair any ball divots after every foursome.
